Tucson Values Teachers

Tucson Values Teachers is a regional initiative determined to prove that we should not just talk about the importance of improving education, but must unify in action to Retain, Recruit and Reward our K-12 teachers. The actions TVT takes recognize the critical role of teachers in our region and the vital influence they have on Tucson’s future.

Biosciences Leadership Council of Southern Arizona

The Biosciences Leadership Council of Southern Arizona (BLCSA) is an SALC-led effort with help from the Flinn Foundation to drive the development of the bioscience industry in Southern Arizona. The committee is a regional partnership that operates as the single entity for bioscience activity coordination in our region.

Brown Family Foundations

The Thomas R. Brown Foundations are dedicated to raising the quality of life for present and future generations through expanded understanding and application of economic principles in private and public decision making. The Foundations are also dedicated to advancing solutions to community problems through strategic grants, research and policy analysis.

Center for the Future of Arizona

The Center for the Future of Arizona is helping to shape and define Arizona’s future through an action-oriented agenda focused on issues and topics critical to the state. More than a think tank, the center is an independent “do tank” that combines public policy research with collaborative partnerships and initiatives that will create opportunities and quality of life for all Arizonans.

Flinn Foundation

The Flinn Foundation supports the advancement of the biosciences in Arizona, as well as two other program areas to help build Arizona’s knowledge-driven economy: the Flinn Scholars Program and the arts in Arizona. In the arts, the Foundation’s grant-making strategy is under review, following the recent conclusion of a multi-year commitment to the Metro Phoenix Partnership for Arts and Culture.

Greater Phoenix Leadership

Greater Phoenix Leadership provides the executive forum through which corporate leadership can effectively and efficiently collaborate with the public sector and non-profit organizations to establish and sustain a safe, healthy and prosperous community. Greater Phoenix Leadership strives to maintain the Phoenix metropolitan region as the premier area in the USA in which to live, work, raise a family and earn a quality education.

Northern Arizona Leadership Alliance

Northern Arizona Leadership Alliance (NALA) works to improve the greater Flagstaff area and the state of Arizona by bringing together talent, resources and leadership to create action on priority issues. Each year, the members of NALA identify a short list of critical issues and works with other organizations to achieve those goals.

Helios Education Foundation

Helios Education Foundation is the largest nonprofit organization serving Arizona and Florida focused solely on education, and is dedicated to enriching the lives of individuals by creating opportunities for success in postsecondary education.

Rodel Foundations

The Rodel Charitable Foundation of Arizona, established in 1999, is not a traditional grant-making foundation. Instead, the Foundation enables a team of leaders, concerned citizens and key educators, working in partnership with others, to bring about greatness in our public schools.

Science Foundation Arizona

Arizonans want a strong economy, a good education system, and high-quality, high-paying jobs. Science Foundation Arizona was formed to help with exactly that. SFAz is a lean and effective catalyst – bringing together businesses and researchers to generate tangible economic benefits for Arizonans.

Southern Arizona Buffelgrass Coordination Center

The Center’s mission is to provide a regional information center that emphasizes an integrated management approach to control buffelgrass in Southern Arizona.

Tucson Regional Water Coalition

The Tucson Regional Water Coalition (TRWC) is an SALC-led business group partnership focused on regionalism and effective water management in the Tucson region and the state of Arizona.
