COVID-19 Information: SALC’s community partners, the Tucson Metro Chamber and Arizona Commerce Authority, have websites providing COVID-19 information, tools and guidance on business finance support, workforce assistance, essential infrastructure information, supply chain and logistics, housing and community volunteer opportunities. Bringing resources together
The Southern Arizona Leadership Council attracts leaders who care deeply about our community and are willing to commit their time and resources to create positive change. We believe a successful community relies and builds on all of its resources including civic and business leaders, government officials, and engaged citizens.
Data from UA scientists
We use data generated from the University of Arizona Eller College of Management that shows information on where Tucson ranks relative to other regions in the United States. We will use this data to focus our initiatives on areas that need positive impact. Our goal is to move the needle forward for Southern Arizona.

The Public Policy & Engagement committee monitors emerging issues related to the economic environment and quality of life in Southern Arizona and the State. The committee develops the legislative agenda for SALC with recommendations for action on pending legislation, initiatives, and referendums for Board consideration and coordinates SALC’s response.
